Ultra-Large Split Spherical Roller Bearings

NSK split bearings for BOFs and Converters mitigate exhaustive and critically time-consuming bearing replacement, eliminating the need for extensive dismantling of components in order to access inboard bearing positions. Removing the bull gear and/or furnace tilt drive is unnecessary, simplifying bearing replacement and dramatically reducing maintenance downtime.

Design Features

Special design ultra-large split spherical roller bearing
Inner and outer rings and roller / cage assembly are perfectly split, with the bearing ring halves held together with fastening screws
Includes split fastening rings with a contact-type sealing surface
Fastening ring is also used as a seal sliding surface
