NSK Welcomes Visitors to FABTECH 2017
Summary of the Exhibition
FABTECH 2017 is North America's largest metal forming, fabricating, welding, and finishing event. The event space is expected to exceed 69,000 m2, with more than 1,700 companies exhibiting their products, services, and technologies.
NSK will be exhibiting three live demos featuring TCH Series Toughcarrier™, Sigma Σ Series Ball Screw, and high performance sealing solutions for NSK Linear Guides™ and NSK Ball Screws.

1. TCH Series Toughcarrier
This pre-assembled, all-in-one linear actuator has two times higher load capacity and four times higher rigidity than the MCM Series. TCH Series is interchangeable with MCH Series products.

2. Sigma Σ Series Robotte Ball Screw
The Robotte combines ball screw and linear ball spline and achieves co-axial rotational and linear motion in a single product. The shaft is hollow, contributing to reduced weight, and the Robotte has 19% reduced inertia compared to conventional ball nut designs. This compact solution is used in water-jet cutting applications, SCARA robot arms, and Z-Theta motion applications.
3. High Performance Sealing and Lubrication Solutions
A) NSK K1™ lubrication unit
Incorporation of the NSK K1 lubrication unit ensures a constant supply of fresh lubricant. This self-lubrication contributes to longer maintenance-free performance.
B) High Performance Seal for Linear Guides and X1 Seal for Ball Screws
Prevents entry of contaminants, while retaining lubricant for longer maintenance-free operation.
C) W Adapter for Linear Guides
Provides added protection against debris commonly encountered in metal fabricating and metalworking applications.
