On March 3, 2020, NSK Ltd. (NSK; Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; President & CEO: Toshihiro Uchiyama) was selected as a “Nadeshiko Brand” by the Tokyo Stock Exchange and Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).
The Nadeshiko Brand is the highest-rank designation reserved for outstanding companies in terms of encouraging and promoting the advancement and success of women in the workplace.

The Nadeshiko Brand is a joint initiative by the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) and Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) aiming to highlight TSE-listed companies that are outstanding in terms of encouraging women’s success in the workplace. The initiative promotes Nadeshiko Brand companies as attractive stocks for investors who emphasize improving corporate value in the mid- and long-term, with resulting investment creating a positive feedback cycle accelerating efforts to encourage women’s empowerment. METI and TSE have been jointly conducting this initiative since fiscal 2012.
