NSK Listed as Constituent of MSCI Nihonkabu ESG Select Leaders Index

 

NSK Ltd. (NSK; Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; President and CEO: Akitoshi Ichii) announced today that NSK has been selected as a constituent of the MSCI Nihonkabu ESG Select Leaders Index, a stock index for ESG investments provided by MSCI Inc. (Morgan Stanley Capital International).

MSCI Nihonkabu ESG Select Leaders Index is an ESG index developed by MSCI of the United States. Japan’s public pension fund, the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF) has adopted it as a key index for ESG investment.

In NSK’s Mid-Term Management Plan (MTP2026), which runs from fiscal 2022 to fiscal 2026, NSK has positioned ESG management as a key management task and is moving forward with initiatives to contribute to a sustainable world through its businesses and remain a company that is needed, trusted, and continually chosen by society.
