COVID-19 – Updated information for our customers, partners, suppliers and employees
In addition to the recent measures we have taken to protect the health of our employees, customers and suppliers, NSK Europe has taken further steps while ensuring that the business continues to function fully.
- As a consequence of many plant shutdowns by Automotive customers, we have decided to suspend manufacturing a bit longer around the normal Easter closures in some of our Automotive plants.
- Our Industrial plants are producing in the normal way.
- With our global production footprint, we are also able to support plants in regions where COVID-19 is peaking.
- Logistics and shipping are operational in all sites during this time to ensure customer shipments.
- Employees in all European sales offices and most support functions are now working from home, most recently with South Africa and Russia. Our business continues to operate effectively everywhere, with most employees being able to work remotely.
Dr. Ulrich Nass, CEO NSK Europe Ltd., emphasizes: “We are facing difficult times. All our business and personal lives are strongly affected. NSK is taking all possible measures to protect our and your people, but also our and your businesses. Even though we may be sitting alone in our home offices, we are all connected, we are a big community and we have to stay together to overcome this crisis.”
