NSK and Bianchi Industrial Successfully Host Fifth Machine Tool Forum

NSK Italy has successfully hosted the fifth edition of the Machine Tool Forum in collaboration with its long-standing distributor partner Bianchi Industrial.

The event took place across three key Italian cities—Bologna (February 20), Verona (February 25), and Milan (February 27)—and brought together industry experts, customers, and partners for an in-depth exploration of the latest developments in the machine tool sector.

Each of the three sessions attracted between 80 and 90 attendees, including direct and indirect customers and representatives of both NSK Europe and Bianchi Industrial. The forum provided a unique opportunity for participants to gain insight into cutting-edge industry innovations and developments.

The main themes of the events were:

  • Industry Evolution: A comprehensive review of the latest trends and innovations in the machine tool sector, including insights from the recent JIMTOF 2024 exhibition in Tokyo.
  • Product Innovations: A showcase of NSK’s latest offerings, including the new ROBUSTDYNA range, designed to enhance performance in machine tool applications. Also on display were new lubrication solutions for ROBUSTSHOT bearings, the new ROBUSTBRD grease, and the new SURSAVE cage, designed to increase the surface finishing and efficiency of machine tools.
  • Advanced Design Tools: An introduction to NSK’s latest Calculation Programme, MTB Click Speedy, which is dedicated to optimising super precision bearings for machine tool spindles.
  • Service and Support: A presentation on the latest Condition Monitoring Systems offered by NSK subsidiary Brüel & Kjær Vibro, highlighting the added value the partnership between NSK and Bianchi brings to the market.

The forum featured presentations from NSK experts, real-world examples of calculations, and a dedicated exhibition of NSK’s product range, giving attendees hands-on exposure to the company’s latest technological developments.
