FAQs

Both DD and DDU refer to contact rubber seals. The slim wall structure of thin-section bearings makes it impossible to process seal grooves on the inner ring outside diameter, so a DD-type seal lip (seal tip) is applied to a step.
Miniature bearings also use the DD type in the same way due to their size. Other standard models use DDU designations.
